    HI Bridget, its Sinead, I think it has something to do with something that you wind around like a jack-in-the-box although I do not think it is really that.

    is it a thing that you put on your gitair to tune the stings so it is easier to turn. so you turn the handle and it will make the bits underneath turn so they will tighten or loosen the strings???
